Ser Flamenco

This quintet is composed of five artists of the Flamenco generation. Although their families - Gypsy and Andalusian - have lived in the south of France for more than twenty years, they have never forgotten their origins and have listened to and practised Flamenco ever since they were born.

That's why many of them are born musicians. The Flamenco they perform is both inventive and attached to its roots.

Far from that commercial Flamenco often misleading its audience, this show is the reflection of an art whose modern development is respectful of traditions.

Always searching for their roots, they give a Flamenco that lies midway tetwe en tradition and modernity; moving forward from the "here and now" and showing on stage the Flamenco way of life. The language they speak is pureza (purity) a Flamenco style tinged with secrecy, pure and without flourish.

Characteristics

This show is produced in France and abroab for receptions, festivals, tours, cultural events and meetings. The number of musicians can bi reduced or enlarged according to financial means and the importance of the event.
